All – Hands Meetings

For employees to come together to have face to face meetings at each work location.

Making time for face-to-face communication is critical to our success. Teams get together at least every 2 months to get us all on the same page.

Our Practice

Why All-Hands Meetings Matter

Six to twelve times a year, worksite employees meet in the ONLS training room/boardroom or at the various worksites for an all hands meeting which lasts for about 1.5 – 2 hours.  Attendance at these meetings is mandatory and we expect all employees to attend.  If an individual is unable to attend, we ask that the individual notify their supervisor in advance of the meeting with a reason why attendance is not possible.

Attending paid all-hands meetings ensures everyone has a shared understanding of resident supports, expectations, and priorities. These meetings strengthen teamwork, improve communication, and support consistent, high-quality care. They also provide an opportunity to learn together, address challenges, and contribute to team development helping us better support the people we serve and each other.

The following is a rough outline of what you can expect at these meetings:

  1. Resident reports
  2. Coordinator reports
  3. Questions and answer session
  4. Any other items of interest. (I.E. training)

Individuals are to submit questions and or their reports before the all hands meeting by emailing their supervisor.
